We're in our 9th year of supplying the Triangle, Triad and the coast of North Carolina with the tastiest turkey around. We're not sure why our birds taste so good, maybe it's the soil here in Durham County, or the freedom these birds have to roam, eat bugs nibble on grass and generally enjoy the freedom of the sun on their feathers. We might not be sure why, but we'll take it.

We've got two breeds of non-GMO gobblers to fill your Thanksgiving turkey needs; the heritage Black Spanish Turkey and the beautiful Bronze Broad Breasted.
Need a Christmas turkey? Need a turkey for Easter? How about a special family gathering? These beauties aren't just for Thanksgiving they'll take pride of place at any celebratory meal.

The Black Spanish Turkey
A heritage breed
We chose the Black Spanish by default; they were the only heritage breed available through our favorite hatchery. I am so glad we did because this bird is fantastic. They have ended up being a great fit for the farm.

The BBB was the first turkey breed we brought to the farm and we've been smitten ever since that first day. We love their curious nature, their quirky personalities and their lovely copper coloring. You can lean more about our big birds on our blog.
